Key Responsibilities:

  • Working to fine tolerances across a range of materials
  • Performing visual and dimensional inspections
  • Using precision measuring equipment (shadowgraph, gauges, verniers)
  • Operating one or more CNC machines simultaneously
  • Ensuring all products meet customer and internal standards (including NADCAP and AS9100)

Key Skills:

  • Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship or equivalent)
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in a precision manufacturing environment (aerospace preferred but not essential)
  • Strong experience with Fanuc controls
  • Ability to work to tight tolerances and strict quality standards
  • Experience working to production targets
  • Self-inspection with use of hand tools, eg micrometers, vernier calipers

A globally recognised manufacturer of critical aerospace components is urgently seeking 2 CNC Turners to support a 13-week contract project.

The Role
You’ll be turning flanges in Inconel with use machine tools with Fanuc controllers

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working to fine tolerances across a range of materials
  • Performing visual and dimensional inspections
  • Using precision measuring equipment (shadowgraph, gauges, verniers)
  • Operating one or more CNC machines simultaneously
  • Ensuring all products meet customer and internal standards (including NADCAP and AS9100)

What We’re Looking For
You’ll be a skilled, detail-focused engineer with experience in precision manufacturing

Essential:
