Summary: The Cloud Voice Engineer role in Sheffield involves transitioning customers from on-premise to cloud-hosted voice solutions, specifically utilizing Cisco (Webex) and Zoom technologies. Key Responsibilities:

• Technical delivery of customer’s cloud telephony solution.
• Support engineering teams, platform SMEs, and delivery partners.
• Migrate from on-premise to cloud-hosted voice solutions.
• Address telephony-specific complexities such as dial plans.
• Work with common UC platforms including SBCs and PBXs.
• Implement networking solutions for voice/UC, including QoS and firewalls.
• Develop automation solutions and API development.

Key Skills:

• Strong experience as a Cloud Voice Engineer.
• Experience with UCaaS solutions (Zoom, Cisco, MS).
• Knowledge of telephony complexities and dial plans.
• Familiarity with SBCs, PBXs, and networking for voice/UC.
• Experience in developing automation solutions.
