3 Month Contract (ongoing) AberdeenHybrid (3/2) We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Cloud Solutions Architect to join our client's team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of cloud-native software solutions, from conception to delivery and support. As the technical authority, you will shape our cloud strategy and ensure adherence to best practices.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and oversee the delivery of cutting-edge cloud-native software solutions.Define and execute the cloud strategy aligned with business objectives and IT governance.Create and maintain cloud architecture blueprints and standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Implement robust cloud security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team.Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost-efficiency and performance.Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends.Required Skills and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.7-10 years of professional experience in cloud computing and software development.Extensive expertise with major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP) and IaC tools (Terraform, ARM Templates, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef).Proficiency in CI/CD tools (GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bamboo, Bitbucket Pipelines, CircleCI, Travis, TeamCity) and scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell).Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Fargate, ECS).Proven ability to write clean, efficient, and reusable code.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in the Upstream industry.Proficiency with Microsoft Azure technologies.Agile development methodology experience.If you are a passionate cloud expert with a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions, we encourage you to apply.Our role in supporting diversity and inclusionAs an international workforce business, we are committed to sourcing personnel that reflects the diversity and values of our client base but also that of Orion Group.
