Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute test cases for the Connexion portal and other CMS-hosted applications within the CMS Cloud.
- Manage test plans, track execution, and document results using TestRail, while logging defects in Jira.
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts in daily stand-ups and maintain test documentation in Confluence.
- Validate application behavior in cloud environments and support compliance testing.
- Complete supportive administrative and lead activities related to cloud testing and analyze data for software process evaluation.
- Ensure quality, reliability, and compliance of cloud-based healthcare applications.
Key Skills:

DPP is seeking a Cloud Senior Test Analyst for an opportunity in Columbia, SC.
Work arrangement:
- Onsite is preferred, but open to remote
- W2 position; 6 months
- Candidates who are foreign nationals must have resided in the US for at least three (3) of the last five (5) years prior to assignment to the client s applicable government contract.
Position summary:
- A typical day for a Cloud Senior Test Analyst on this team involves planning and executing test cases for the Connexion portal and other CMS-hosted applications within the CMS Cloud (built on AWS ).
- The Analyst uses TestRail to manage test plans, track execution, and document results, while Jira is used to log defects and align testing tasks with Agile sprints.
- They collaborate with developers and business analysts in daily stand-ups, using Confluence to maintain test documentation, user stories, and release notes.
- The role also includes validating application behavior in cloud environments, supporting compliance testing, and ensuring that all updates meet CMS security and performance standards before deployment.
- In addition, they complete supportive administrative and lead activities related to cloud testing and collect and analyze data for software process evaluation and continuous improvement.

Job/class description:
- Complete supportive administrative and lead activities. Collect and analyze data for software process evaluation and improvements. Integrate them into business processes to address business needs.
- Complete administrative and lead activities to support management such as attending sessions with customers, planning and disbursing projects to team members, completing reports, resource planning, preparing documentation and developing processes.
- Manage projects to ensure the coordination, documentation, reporting and customer communication requirements are being supported. Mentor and provide guidance to testing staff.
- Perform quality checks across various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures, and methodologies are being followed. Define and analyze quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test status. Make recommendations to clients on how to improve operational workflows.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:

- Strong analysis skills.
- Thorough understanding of data processing terminology, operations, and architecture utilized in debugging application/environmental problems.

- Skill in Whitebox testing, integration testing, static testing, and 508 compliance testing utilizing JAWS software.
Required education/equivalencies:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree;
- OR, Associates degree in CS, IT, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
- OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 13 years without a degree)
