Summary: The Cloud Security Engineer role focuses on securing M365 and Azure environments within a leading tech organization. The position requires hands-on engineering expertise in InfoSec, networking, and server hardening, while championing best practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the security authority for M365 and Azure environments.
- Implement and champion best practices in cloud security.
- Manage and enhance security tools including Defender for Cloud, Entra ID, and Sentinel.
- Ensure solid infrastructure and InfoSec practices related to Windows, Microsoft 365, and Office 365.
- Perform networking and server hardening tasks.
- Collaborate on security governance and risk management.
Key Skills:
- Proven track record as a hands-on Cloud Security Engineer in M365 and Azure environments.
- Experience with Defender for Cloud, Entra ID, and Sentinel.
- Knowledge of firewalls and key vault management.
- Microsoft, Azure, and InfoSec certifications are desirable.
- Ability to commute to Liverpool for onsite work.
