Summary: The Cloud Security Engineer role is a contract position requiring DV Security Clearance, focused on delivering and maintaining cloud platforms for the UK Public sector's critical infrastructure. The position involves working within Agile teams to ensure security, scalability, and reliability while gaining architecture experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Work within Agile teams to deliver and maintain cloud platforms for critical infrastructure.
- Produce and review security documentation aligned with government standards.
- Interact with security stakeholders across Defence and government departments.
- Assist with security assurance for cloud procurement and Secret Cloud.
- Develop security assurance plans and architectures for cloud systems.
- Collaborate with product owners and architects to align designs with business goals.
- Monitor new features for operational impact and drive continuous service improvement.
- Ensure adherence to Identity and Access Management controls and maintain documentation.
Key Skills:
- Current and Live Developed Vetting (DV) Security Clearance.
- Experience as a cyber security engineer or cloud security architect.
- Cloud security qualifications in Azure or AWS.
- Ability to work collaboratively within teams.
- Knowledge of MoD JSP publications and Defence Cyber Security Framework.
- Experience in producing security documentation and assurance plans.
