Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Azure and Terraform to design, implement, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure for financial services operations. This role is essential for ensuring compliance with industry standards while optimizing cloud performance and costs. The position requires collaboration with various teams to support CI/CD pipelines and incident response. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure automation and cloud security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration of Azure resources.
  • Build and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient cloud environments aligned with financial services compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS).
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to support CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and incident response.
  • Optimize cloud costs and performance through resource governance, tagging strategies, and usage analytics.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning, business continuity, and security audits.
  • Stay current with Azure service updates and industry trends to recommend improvements.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation in production environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure Virtual Network, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor).
  • Solid understanding of networking, identity and access management (IAM), and security best practices in cloud environments.
  • Experience in regulated industries, preferably financial services, with a strong grasp of compliance and governance requirements.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
