Cloud IAM Support Engineer
Summary: The Cloud IAM Support Engineer role involves supporting the Identity Access Management Team in delivering IAM services, ensuring appropriate access to resources. Key responsibilities include identity lifecycle management, authentication, authorization, and governance. The position requires strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Identity Manager and programming skills in C#. The role is fully onsite in Inverness and classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identity life cycle management - creating, modifying, and removing user accounts
- Authentication - verifying user identity through various methods
- Authorization - controlling user access to resources
- Governance & auditing - tracking access and ensuring compliance
- Managing Beyond Trust PARA vendor accounts onboarding/offboarding
- Jump server agent and local account management
- Supporting BeyondTrust core PAM platform
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM)
- Programming skills in C# and .NET Framework
- Experience developing MIM Custom Rule Extensions and custom workflows
- Good knowledge of PowerShell scripting, SQL Server, and LDAP/XML
- Desirable skills in Active Directory Support and Microsoft Entra ID Administration
- Experience with BeyondTrust PRA and PAM
- Okta Support

Role Description:
As part of the Identity Access Management Team, you will be supporting the delivery of IAM services to ensure the right people (or systems) have the right access to the right resources at the right time, and for the right reasons. It typically covers:
* Identity life cycle management - creating, modifying, and removing user accounts
* Authentication - verifying who someone is (eg, passwords, MFA, certificates)
* Authorization - controlling what users are allowed to access
* Governance & auditing - tracking access and ensuring compliance
* Strong hands-on experience with:
o Microsoft Identity Manager (MIMI)
Strong programming skills in:
o C#
o .NET Framework
* Experience developing:
o MIM Custom Rule Extensions
o Custom workflows and sysynchronisationogic
* Good knowledge of:
o PoPower Shellcripting
o SQL Server
o LDALAPXML
