Brief summary of role
- Design and develop the ETL workflows to process the overnight data exchange.
- Apply data transformation rules as per the requirements provided by the Data Analyst and Business Analyst.
- Implement data cleaning logic and enforce data retention rules.
- Optimize ETL jobs for efficiency and error handling.
- Collaborate with the Cloud Data Engineer to ensure ETL jobs integrate smoothly with the cloud-based data pipelines.
- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL workflows to ensure reliability and performance.
Role Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in ETL workflow development and optimization.
- Proficiency in AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, and S3.
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, or similar languages.
