Summary: We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Python, and Terraform to build secure, scalable, and automated cloud environments. The role involves designing and implementing cloud infrastructure to support enterprise-level cloud adoption and AI/ML capabilities. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish best practices in engineering, automation, and governance. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and automate cloud infrastructure on GCP using Terraform and Python
- Provision and manage cloud environments, including production systems
- Develop reusable infrastructure modules, templates, and scalable engineering patterns
- Enable and integrate cloud services to support AI/ML workloads and platform capabilities
- Build automation for provisioning, validation, compliance, and operational workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architecture, security, networking, and IAM
- Translate platform and governance requirements into deployable solutions and standards
- Support service onboarding, environment setup, and release readiness activities
- Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and resiliency requirements
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, version control, and release automation processes
- Produce clear documentation for designs, standards, and operational procedures
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
