Summary: The role of Cloud Engineer - End User Computing focuses on delivering secure and user-centric workplace solutions within a digital transformation and managed services environment. The position requires deep expertise in Microsoft 365, endpoint management, and identity services, particularly in regulated sectors. The engineer will be responsible for configuring and maintaining Microsoft 365 services, managing identity platforms, and supporting endpoint management. Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain Microsoft 365 services, including tenant administration, governance, and policy enforcement.
- Manage identity platforms, including Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), on-premises Active Directory, and authentication mechanisms such as SSO and MFA.
- Implement and optimise security controls including Conditional Access and cloud app protection solutions.
- Design and manage device and application strategies using Microsoft Intune, covering compliance, security baselines, and deployment.
- Support endpoint management platforms (eg SCCM/MECM) for build processes, software distribution, updates, and reporting.
- Enhance organisational security through Enterprise Mobility and Security (EMS) capabilities.
- Administer messaging environments across Exchange Online and on-premises Exchange, including hybrid configurations and migrations.
- Oversee collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams, including telephony, conferencing, and integration with meeting room solutions.
- Support document management and collaboration tools, including SharePoint Online and OneDrive, covering configuration and migration efforts.
- Deliver Microsoft 365 tenant migrations, including cross-tenant scenarios, using established tooling and methodologies.
- Develop automation using PowerShell to improve consistency and reduce manual effort.
- Provide advanced (3rd line) support for complex technical issues across end-user and collaboration environments.
- Produce and maintain clear technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
Key Skills:
- Proven background in Microsoft 365 administration and modern workplace environments
- Strong knowledge of identity and access management, including Entra ID, Active Directory, SSO, and MFA
- Experience implementing Conditional Access policies and cloud security controls
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management frameworks
- Experience supporting enterprise endpoint platforms such as SCCM/MECM
- Understanding of EMS technologies and broader security best practices
- Experience with Exchange Online, on-prem Exchange, and hybrid deployments
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams administration, including voice and collaboration features

We are looking for a skilled End User Computing (EUC) Engineer with deep experience across Microsoft 365, modern workplace platforms, endpoint management, and identity services.
