Summary: The Cloud DevSecOps Engineer role involves managing the cloud infrastructure for Atom5™ cloud software within a leading pharmaceutical company. The position requires oversight of security practices related to Azure Cloud and network infrastructure, as well as automation of development and release processes. The role is contract-based for 12 months and offers hybrid working arrangements. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and may be subject to a DBS check.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the management of cloud infrastructure for Atom5™ cloud software.
- Oversee, monitor, document, and improve security practices related to Azure Cloud and network infrastructure.
- Automate development and release processes, including code and artefact management, Continuous Integration, and Deployment.
- Assist compliance and quality teams in documenting processes related to QA, infrastructure, and security practices.
Key Skills:
- Understanding of the Linux user space.
- Proficient in scripting using bash or Python.
- Knowledge of networking.
- Experience with public cloud offerings, particularly Azure.
- Familiarity with metrics, monitoring, alerting, and logging systems (e.g., Sensu, Graphite, ELK, Prometheus, CloudWatch).
