Summary: The role of SC Cleared Cloud DevOps Engineer involves optimizing release management and enhancing system monitoring for AWS applications within a leading public sector organization. The position requires the integration of cloud security measures and the migration of Python web applications for improved scalability. This is a 6-month hybrid contract role that necessitates SC clearance. Candidates will also be responsible for developing disaster recovery protocols and leading workspace migrations to Windows Server 2022.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimizing release management & version control for AWS applications
- Improving system monitoring and fixing issues faster
- Strengthening cloud security by integrating Zscaler
- Migrating & refactoring Python web apps for scalability
- Developing a disaster recovery runbook for AWS & Azure
- Leading workspace migration to Windows Server 2022
Key Skills:
- SC Clearance
