Key Responsibilities:
- Produce high quality, performant, and well-documented code adhering to secure coding principles.
- Understand and work with CloudFormation templates (Infrastructure as Code / IaC).
- Collaborate with Product Owners to understand business and customer problems.
- Provide input on technical designs and recognize potential performance and security issues.
- Manage work using Scrum and Kanban Agile methodologies.
- Review code changes made by others to support personal development and product quality.
- Participate in technical design discussions and present in tech forums.
- Support releases through to production and improve CI/CD processes.
Key Skills:
- 9+ years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in Go, with familiarity in Java desirable.
- Application architecture skills and understanding of AWS services.
- Strong engineering practices (XP, TDD), CI & CD, and Pair programming.
- Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Relevant AWS certification (e.g., Cloud Practitioner, Developer, Architect).
- Ability to drive the end-to-end software development lifecycle.
- Experience with automation in software development.
- Strong understanding of Object Oriented concepts and SOLID principles.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse audiences.
