Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a rapid market scan/assessment of data management solutions and approaches.
- Perform stakeholder interviews and capture requirements.
- Define and articulate cloud data architecture options including technical data objects and management patterns.
- Apply and recommend data governance frameworks such as operating models, controls, ownership, and policies.
- Produce a clear written report with findings, recommendations, and practical next steps.
- Communicate confidently with senior stakeholders using plain English and defensible thinking.
Key Skills:
- Active SC clearance (or DV) held now.
- Strong background in cloud data architecture and data governance.
- Ability to deliver structured research, evaluation, and written outputs at pace.
- Comfortable running stakeholder interviews and synthesizing into recommendations.
- Available to start immediately.
- Solution architecture background (ideal).
- Experience in regulated/public sector environments (ideal).
- Able to operate independently with minimal hand-holding (ideal).

We’re hiring immediately for an active SC-cleared (or DV-cleared) consultant to deliver a fast-turn, high-impact piece of work focused on cloud data architecture + data governance . Important: If you do not currently hold active SC or DV clearance , you will not be progressed. No sponsorship, no “in progress”, no exceptions!
What you’ll be doing
- Rapid market scan / assessment of data management solutions and approaches
- Stakeholder interviews and requirements capture
- Define and articulate cloud data architecture options (technical data objects, data management patterns)
- Apply / recommend data governance frameworks (operating model, controls, ownership, policies)
- Produce a clear written report with findings, recommendations, and practical next steps
- Communicate confidently with senior stakeholders - plain English, defensible thinking

- Active SC clearance (or DV) held now
- Strong background in cloud data architecture and data governance
- Ability to deliver structured research, evaluation, and written outputs at pace
- Comfortable running stakeholder interviews and synthesising into recommendations
- Available to start immediately

Contract and rate
- 8 weeks initially (realistically through 31 March )
- Up to £500/day indicative - hiring manager is flexible for the right person
- Ltd Co day-rate or FTC considered
