Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data engineering products and platforms.
- Utilize programming languages such as Python and Spark.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Cloud Formation.
- Work with distributed systems and cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
- Apply DevOps practices including GitOps, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages - Python, Spark, and IaC (Terraform/Cloud Formation).
- Experience with distributed systems and data engineering products/platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, Airflow, and DBT.
- Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices - GitOps, Terraform, Kubernetes.
- Strong evidence of data engineering work.
- Familiarity with Docker and understanding of data products and data pipelines.
