Summary: The Cyber Security Consultant role focuses on enhancing the security of cloud technologies and architectures, particularly in AWS, while deploying generative AI solutions. The consultant will provide training to DevOps/DevSecOps teams and ensure compliance with industry cybersecurity frameworks. This position is hybrid, requiring three days of onsite work in Knutsford. The contract duration is five months, starting in August 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and enhance the security of cloud technologies and architectures.
- Provide expert guidance on AWS security best practices.
- Train DevOps/DevSecOps teams on robust and repeatable security practices.
- Implement security measures for generative AI applications.
- Contribute to the effective implementation of industry cybersecurity frameworks & industry best practice for the programme.
- Collaborate and educate with cross-functional teams to maintain a secure cloud and AI infrastructure environment.
Key Skills:
- Cybersecurity experience with a focus on cloud technologies and architectures.
- Proven expertise in AWS security.
- DevSecOps experience.
- One or more relevant cyber security qualifications.
- Working knowledge of Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).

My client within the financial services industry is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Security Consultant with a strong background in AWS to join the team. This role will focus on ensuring the security of our client's cloud technologies and architectures as they deploy GenAI solutions and provide training to their DevOps/DevSecOps teams. The ideal candidate will have cybersecurity experience specifically focused on cloud technologies and architectures. This is a hybrid role and requires the ideal candidate to work onsite 3 days a week in the Knutsford office.
