Summary: The role of Technical Architect focuses on leveraging Amazon Lex to enhance automation and customer experience in a contact center environment. The position requires extensive experience in cloud architecture, particularly with Generative AI and LLM integration. The selected candidate will engage with clients to design and implement Lex-based conversational bots while guiding integration strategies. This is a client-facing role that emphasizes collaboration with technical teams and project leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical design discussions with client architects and stakeholders
  • Create and present OSD (Overall Solution Design) and HLD (High-Level Design) documentation
  • Architect solutions integrating Amazon Lex with Gen AI/LLMs to enhance chatbot and voicebot capabilities
  • Provide hands-on guidance to development teams on best practices and integration strategies
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and project leadership to ensure timely delivery and solution alignment
  • Advise on AWS-native automation capabilities and platform integration

Key Skills:

  • 10+ years in cloud-based architecture and engineering roles
  • Deep hands-on expertise in Amazon Lex, including configuration, limitations, and deployment best practices
  • Strong experience with Amazon Connect for voicebot integration
  • Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch
  • Practical experience or understanding of LLMs and Generative AI, including how they can be integrated with Lex-based solutions
  • Excellent communication and client engagement skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset

Technical Architect - Amazon Lex Contract - Inside IR35 6 months (options to extend) Luton, Bedfordshire - 3 days onsite

We’re currently looking for an Amazon Lex Architect with proven experience in the contact centre domain and a strong grasp of Generative AI (Gen AI) and LLM integration.

This is a client-facing architecture role focused on driving automation and conversational AI initiatives.

The Role

The end-client operates across multiple international markets and is accelerating its automation and customer experience transformation using AWS technologies. The selected candidate will play a key role in the technical design and implementation of Lex-based conversational bots (webchat and voice) and help guide the broader integration strategy.
