Summary: The Clinical Applications Specialist will play a pivotal role in the Group Digital Division, focusing on the efficient delivery of second line support for clinical and non-clinical applications across University Hospitals of Northamptonshire. This position involves leading application-based projects, ensuring compliance with internal service level agreements, and optimizing system configurations. The role requires travel between Kettering General and Northampton General Hospital sites and includes participation in an on-call service. This is a fixed-term contract until June 30, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead designated areas of responsibility to support the Clinical Applications Team Leaders.
- Minimize system downtime and mitigate associated risks.
- Plan improvements to ensure system reliability and resilience.
- Conduct investigations and analyze complex service issues or faults.
- Take the lead on configuration and build optimization for clinical applications.
- Work flexibly to meet the demands of a 24/7 organization.
- Participate in an on-call service for the Group.
