Client-Side Project Manager, RIBA is required to lead the delivery of major capital projects across a complex, operational estate comprising historic buildings, heritage assets and critical infrastructure.
London based (hybrid working)
This is an exciting opportunity to manage high-profile refurbishment, conservation and engineering projects with values exceeding £20m.
Long term programme-paying up to £630 a day (inside IR35)
Acting as the informed client, you will lead projects from inception through to handover, managing multidisciplinary teams, consultants and contractors to ensure successful delivery against programme, budget and quality objectives.
You will take ownership of project governance, stakeholder engagement, risk management, procurement, contract administration, reporting and assurance activities throughout the project life cycle.
You will have significant experience delivering major construction, infrastructure and refurbishment projects within occupied heritage, public sector or similarly complex environments.
You will possess strong commercial awareness, excellent stakeholder management skills and extensive knowledge of NEC contracts.
Candidates should hold a degree-level qualification in Project Management, Construction, Building Surveying, Engineering or a related discipline, together with a proven track record of delivering projects valued at £20m+.
Professional qualifications such as MRICS, MCIOB, ChPP, CEng or equivalent are desirable, as is NEC accreditation.
You will be a confident leader capable of influencing diverse stakeholder groups, challenging suppliers where necessary and driving successful project outcomes within complex and highly regulated environments.

- Leading projects through all stages from feasibility to completion.
- Managing project budgets, programmes, forecasting and reporting.
- Preparing business cases, governance papers and board presentations.
- Managing procurement activities and supply chain performance.
- Overseeing NEC contract administration, change control and risk management.
- Leading stakeholder engagement, planning and consent processes.
- Ensuring successful testing, commissioning, handover and soft landings.
- Driving compliance with health and safety, information management and quality standards.
