Summary: The Client Finance Manager role at MullenLowe Global involves overseeing financial management for Global Accounts, focusing on enhancing client profitability and revenue. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain worldwide tracking sheet for global billing transactions and track POs issued.
- Ensure billing footprint aligns with Scope Tool (SWOP) and assist with client calls.
- Work with MullenLowe Billing team to ensure accurate and timely billing.
- Maintain working capital balances and resolve invoicing issues with clients.
- Manage OOPS Budgets in Billing tool and maintain WIP balances.
- Collaborate on client profitability reporting and monitor profit improvement plans.
- Support the Client Finance Partner with various financial analyses and presentations.
Key Skills:
- Highly numerate with strong analytical and commercial skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Strong time management skills with adaptability.

What we are looking for: We are currently looking for a Client Finance Manager to join the UCT department, working on financial management of the Global Accounts. The primary goal of this department is to drive increased Global Client profitability and revenue across the group. UCT partners with agency leadership in client negotiations, introduces innovative compensation models where possible and provides global financial leadership and best practices. The Global Client Finance team is also responsible for regular reporting of Client Profitability and support for the MullenLowe Global CFO on various operational initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- PO’s / Billing / WIP Management
- Maintain worldwide tracking sheet - enter all global billing transactions, track PO’s issued
- Ensure billing footprint is aligned with Scope Tool (SWOP) and PO’s filter through to markets on time.
- Assist Global Client Finance Partner with client calls to align footprint with SWOP Tool
- Work with MullenLowe Billing team to ensure billing is up to date and correct
- Issue PO’s to markets brand by brand based on market allocations awarded
- Attend calls to clients to resolve PO and Invoicing issues
- Assist Global Client Finance Partner with Network issues regarding scope / PO’s / historical balances
- Working Capital
- Maintain working capital balances across network for clients
- Work with MullenLowe markets to resolve invoicing issues
- Weekly calls with clients to work through issues
- Track Working Capital quarterly with MullenLowe Controllers
- Liaise with markets to ensure issues are flagged early and initiate dialogue with clients on issue resolution
- Manage OOPS Budgets in Billing tool, ensure PO’s are issued by clients and Out Of Pockets Files are uploaded into Billing tool
- Work with MullenLowe central team to maintain the WIP and keep balances in good order
- Client finance
- Maintain client rate card tables
- Collaborate with the team on client profitability reporting
- Liaise with markets on variances and monitor profit improvement plans
- Maintain mapping table per market & Contact Mapping across the company
- Support the Client Finance Partner with brand sheets preparation, bonus calculations (both annual and quarterly), revenue allocation, central service fee allocation and tracking, ad hoc presentations on global figures for management, retrieving revenue information from different segments/revenue sources in the company, and ISAM fee analysis and tracking
