Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure all contractual arrangements meet regulatory requirements, legal standards, and internal policy guidelines.
- Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks by collaborating with colleagues in the General Counsel's Office.
- Escalate matters appropriately in line with established internal governance processes.
- Support ad hoc projects across the General Counsel's Office, including process improvements and policy development initiatives.
- Utilise legal technology and contract management tools to streamline workflows and enhance best practices.
- Spot opportunities to optimise contracting processes and embed industry-leading standards.
- Contribute actively to cross-firm decision-making by sharing insights on commercial risk profiles and contractual strategies.
Key Skills:
- Strong academic background and qualification as a solicitor (typically 3+ years post-qualification experience).
- Proven experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts in an in-house or law firm setting.
