Summary: The Client Accounts Assistant role at LRG involves processing daily payments, assisting property managers with queries, and managing landlord and tenant accounts. Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing of daily payments from the bank.
  • Assisting property managers and branches with queries.
  • Reviewing landlord and tenant ledgers/accounts.
  • Processing statements to landlords.
  • Setting up/amending charges for rent, commission and other fees.
  • Processing invoices from suppliers.
  • Timely completion of any required reporting.
  • Complete a daily bank reconciliation and client account reconciliation on Reapit.
  • Supporting the team across other tasks where required.

Key Skills:

  • Experience within a property or client accounting related role (1 year minimum).
  • High levels of numerical competency, able to make accurate calculations, and to explain them to clients in simple terms.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with the property managers & branch staff.
  • Strong attention to detail and consistently delivering high levels of accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads under pressure.
  • Organised and punctual.
  • Solutions focused, able to identify and implement proactive solutions for the benefit of the client.
  • A good understanding of the residential lettings sector, the role of client accounting and key skills required.
