Summary: The Cleaning Contract Liaison Officer at Basildon Borough Council is responsible for ensuring compliance with contract specifications through performance monitoring and effective communication with contractors. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with contract specifications through performance monitoring.
  • Liaise with contractors to resolve complaints and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct site inspections and joint inspections with contractor representatives.
  • Coordinate Operational Cleaning Core Group meetings and manage agendas and minutes.
  • Monitor payments, refunds, and invoices related to the cleaning contract.
  • Maintain accurate records and produce reports on cleaning contract matters.
  • Provide data analysis and upload KPIs and survey results to the Council’s system.
  • Report discrepancies to the Council’s Contract Manager.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation abilities.
