The Role Our site in Wolverhampton is looking for a Cleaner on a fixed term contract to cover Maternity Leave for 12 months. The Cleaner is a service industry worker who ensures the workplace is always clean and sanitary, performing a range of duties; including dusting or mopping and sweeping floors. The Cleaner will also make sure restrooms, and common areas stay fresh by performing routine inspections every day at specified times. The Cleaner will work Monday to Friday, 09:30am – 15:30pm. We are able to accommodate a slightly earlier or later start time.

As a Cleaner At IPL Wolverhampton You Will Be cognisant and compliant with Food Safety and other regulations at all times. Adhere to all plant health and safety requirements. Monitor and restock cleaning supplies. Cleaning of the work environment in adherence to the cleaning schedule. Maintain clean and hygienic conditions for all basic cleaning in and around the site including offices, walkways, reception, canteen and kitchen areas. Cleaning floors and rooms, including dusting mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting and spot cleaning glass and windows. Cleaning locker rooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying rubbish bins, cleaning and sanitising fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning doors and walls, sweeping and mopping production walkways inclusive of cleaning toilets and urinals. Ensuring stairwells are clean, tidy and free from dust. Responsible for ensuring 100% cleanliness within the canteen areas. Assisting other departments when need to ensure optimum services to guests and visitors. Reporting breakages, damages, defects and hazards. Building trust and promoting choice, dignity and independence. Using equipment such as carpet cleaning machines and machines to deep clean walkways. Performing additional cleaning duties as a when requested. Excellent time management skills.
