Summary: The Class 2 Driver role at Countrystyle Recycling involves operating dustcarts for waste collection while ensuring high customer service standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Complete daily vehicle checks and fill out the Vehicle Defect sheet.
- Ensure all CCTV cameras are operational before starting work.
- Report defects, including tyre issues, to the Fleet Office.
- Complete all allocated work within the working day.
- Ensure paperwork is completed correctly and submitted timely.
- Maintain communication with the Fleet Office and report issues immediately.
- Refuel vehicles upon return to the yard or depot.
- Attend de-briefing sessions at the end of the day.
- Secure all loads to prevent waste or debris from falling during transit.
- Wear required PPE when collecting or delivering waste.
- Report accidents and incidents to the Fleet Office or Compliance Team.
- Cooperate with safety protocols and report unsafe conditions.
Key Skills:

- 2 years of HGV driving experience.
- HGV Class 2 license.
- Current CPC and Digi-tacho.

About The Role
To drive Company dustcarts for the collection and emptying of customer's waste bins and sacks whilst delivering high levels of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Complete all daily vehicle checks and fill out the designated Vehicle Defect sheet at the start and end of each shift.
- Ensure all CCTV cameras are working on your vehicle before commencing your daily work and where fitted, ensure inward-facing cameras face the driver.
- Report all defects including tyre issues to Fleet Office.
- Complete all allocated work within the working day.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly and submitted in a timely manner.
- Maintain regular communication with the Fleet Office and report any issues/incidents immediately.
- Fill vehicles with fuel on return to yard at end of the day or on your return journey to your depot.
- Report to the Fleet Office at the end of the day for de-briefing and advice on following day's work.
- Ensure all loads are safely secured and that there is no risk of waste or debris falling from your vehicle trailer or container whilst it is on the public highway.
- Wear the correct PPE required when collecting or delivering to customer and other Countrystyle operated sites.
- Report all accidents and incidents immediately to your fleet office or the Compliance Team and obtain details as required.
- Staff have a duty to take care of their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their actions at work.
- Essential Staff must co-operate, report unsafe conditions and comply with the company management systems and safe systems of work as well as co-workers to help everyone meet their legal requirements.
About you:

HGV Class 2 license
