Key Responsibilities:
- Complete an induction and assessment prior to commencing work.
- Drive Class 1 HGV vehicles for varied roles including days, nights, and tramping.
- Manage 2-3 drops per shift with average shifts lasting 11-12 hours.
- Adhere to starting times for days (04:00 – 08:00) and nights (15:00 - 19:00).
- Maintain professionalism and presentation at all times.
- Be flexible with work and changing circumstances.
Key Skills:
- Valid UK HGV licence for 12 months or more.
- Minimum 6-month previous HGV driving experience.
- Digital tachograph card and CPC card.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and presentation.
- Flexibility in work approach.
- Clean driving record with no more than 6 points and no serious endorsements (IN10, DR10, DG10, CD10, TT99).

Rapid Time Recruit Limited acting as an Employment Business is currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 HGV drivers for various shift patterns on behalf of our client in Carrington on an ONGOING basis.
Role of a Class 1 HGV Driver:
- Varied roles, Days, Nights, Tramping, 4 on 4 off
- Starting times 04:00 – 08:00 DAYS
- Starting times 15:00 - 19:00 NIGHTS
- 2-3 drops
- Average 11–12-hour shifts
- Class 1 HGV drivers will be required to complete an induction and assessment prior to commencing work.
Various shift patterns available
- Monday - Friday days
- 4 on 4 off days
- Monday - Friday nights
- 4on 4off nights
- Tramping is optional / available on all shift patterns.
Class 1 driver will require:
- Valid UK HGV licence for 12 months or more.
- Must have a minimum 6-month previous HGV driving experience.
- Digital tachograph card CPC card.
- Be professional and presentable at all times.
- Have a flexible approach to work and changing circumstances.
- Must not hold any more than 6 points on your license.
- No IN10, DR10, DG10, CD10 or TT99
