Summary: The Claims Bordereaux Technician is responsible for managing claims bordereaux for a portfolio of delegated accounts, ensuring efficient processing and adherence to performance standards. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to resolve issues, support training for new team members, and contribute to process improvements. The technician will also analyze data and prepare reports to support claims management efforts. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform core processes necessary for controlled delegated claims handling, including review and reconciliation of claims bordereaux.
  • Manage data associated with bordereaux processing on internal Claims database, ClaimCenter.
  • Liaise with claims managers, brokers, and Delegated Claims Adjustors (DCA’s) to resolve bordereaux issues.
  • Take ownership of the BDX format and processing on Delegated Data Manager for owned accounts.
  • Identify and resolve problems to facilitate smooth running of core processes.
  • Support training for new joiners and contribute to ad-hoc team projects.
  • Prepare and analyze statistics in response to requests for information.
  • Assist with documentation and maintenance of processes related to bordereaux review and reconciliation.
  • Ensure compliance with Lloyd’s Coverholder Reporting Standards and Beazley’s data requirements.
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc claims reports and support claims performance measurement efforts.
  • Work with Vendor Account Management Team to ensure DCA arrangements meet service levels.
  • Build collaborative relationships with team members and contribute to team meetings.

Key Skills:

  • Degree or equivalent in any discipline preferred but not essential.
  • A minimum of 3 A ‘Levels’.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Ability to work with detailed information while maintaining quality and accuracy.
  • Experience with bordereaux and understanding of Lloyds minimum standards desirable.
  • Knowledge of DDM, IMR/ECF2 beneficial.
  • Experience in a delegated claims environment advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and communication skills.
