Summary: The role of Cladding Project Manager involves overseeing a challenging cladding/render project in Cardiff's city centre, requiring strong client-facing skills to engage with local residents and businesses. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing re-clad/render packages for multi-storey buildings and will be responsible for ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage health and safety (H&S)
- Run and plan the build programme
- Liaise with residents, businesses, and the Resident Liaison Officer (RLO)
- Manage trades and sub-contractors
- Conduct inductions
- Obtain necessary permits
- Liaise with local authorities
- Oversee the full scaffold package in collaboration with the sub-contractor
- Prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
- Ensure the re-clad and render work is completed on time and within budget
Key Skills:
- Experience managing re-clad/render packages on multi-storey blocks
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Valid and in-date SMSTS certification
- First Aid certification
- CSCS card
- Ability to manage trades and sub-contractors effectively
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Experience liaising with local authorities
