Summary: The role of Senior Civil/Structural Engineer involves overseeing civil engineering services for hydro and thermal stations within the Civil, Environmental & Renewables Engineering Group. The engineer will also engage with stakeholders and promote a strong safety culture. This is a contract position based in Dublin, Ireland, with a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and promote a strong safety culture.
- Provide technical expertise in civil/structural engineering across all project stages.
- Manage civil works contracts and oversee project delivery.
- Conduct asset inspections and audits.
- Prepare technical reports, structural calculations, and drawings.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Skills:
- Level 8 degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in civil/structural engineering.
- Strong commercial and project management skills.
- Ability to assess and manage project risks.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- Full driving license and access to a car.
