Summary: The Civil Site Supervisor will oversee civil construction works for a six-month contract with a leading Independent Power Producer in Essex. This role involves managing health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and maintaining quality control throughout the construction process. The supervisor will collaborate closely with the Project Manager to ensure timely and budget-conscious project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and enforce health and safety regulations related to civil work.
• Oversee the civil installation process.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, designs, specifications, and drawings.
• Conduct quality control and inspections.
• Perform and record weekly site health and safety inspections.
• Report all injuries and dangerous occurrences.
• Maintain records of operative’s qualifications, expiry dates, and exclusions.
• Ensure a tidy and safe site with effective housekeeping and management of staff and contractors.
• Manage projects in accordance with the Project Execution Plan's general and health and safety requirements.
• Contribute to project schedule development and monitor the construction schedule closely.
