Summary: The Civil Operative (Shuttering Joiner/Carpenter) role involves fabrication and installation of formwork, concrete placement, and assisting with reinforcement installation. Candidates are expected to work accurately according to Temporary Works Designs and create various timber constructions as needed. A strong emphasis is placed on safety and compliance with required qualifications and PPE.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication and installation of formwork.
- Placing and finishing concrete.
- Working accurately to Temporary Works Designs.
- Assisting steel fixers with the installation of Re-Bar.
- Creating signage frames and other timber constructions as required.
- Assisting with the installation of reinforcement where needed.
Key Skills:
- NG Person and manual handling certification.
- NVQ or similar in formwork.
- Slinger/Signaller certification.
- Banksman certification.
- 3 Day First Aid certification.
- Ability to work safely and comply with site requirements.
Salary (Rate): £30/hour

- Will ideally be able to assist with installation of reinforcement where required.
Must have NG Person and manual handling. NVQ or similar in formwork.Slinger/Signaller. Banksman. 3 Day First Aid. Please do not present anyone that does not have the right criteria and tickets. All candidates must have PPE before they can go on site.
