Locum Civil Litigation Paralegal - Full Time - Predominantly Remote Working - up to 24 per hour Umbrella - Midlands Position: Locum Civil Litigation Paralegal Organisation: Midlands based Local Authority Duration: 3 months with the potential to be a rolling contract Working Hours: Ideally Full Time but Part Time candidates (4 days per week) may still be considered who possess the relevant experience Working Arrangement: Predominantly Remote Working with occasional Court/Office attendance may be required Hourly Rate: 24 per hour Umbrella dependent on experience We are seeking an experienced professional with a solid background in Civil Litigation Law, ideally gained within a Local Authority or Private Practice background. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload, with a particular advantage for those bringing knowledge of Property & Commercial Litigation. Duties may include:               Draft, review, and negotiate Contracts               Experience in property litigation including dealing with landlord and tenant disputes, forfeiture claims,  trespass/encroachment claims, and dilapidations               Assisting Solicitors with Civil Litigation cases at all stages of Pre-Litigation/Litigation               Ensure compliance with the Civil Litigation Pre-Action Protocol               Ensure compliance with GDPR by overseeing data protection policies and practices               Assist to represent the Council/Solicitor in Court and conduct advocacy where appropriate in mainly remote hearings with some Court attendance may be required This position has an attractive rate up to 24 per hour Umbrella dependent on experience.
