Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all Project HSES standards & documentation.
  • Conduct timely inspections during civils activities and proactively prevent non-compliance.
  • Monitor and review material test certificates and compliance with Inspection and Test Plans.
  • Ensure project preservation requirements and traceability of materials are maintained.
  • Witness manufacturing activities and ensure compliance with project standards.
  • Complete and review the manufacture record book and provide feedback into supplier performance evaluation.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years in Civils Inspection / QA/QC.

General
Ensure compliance with all Project HSES standards & documentation. Fully committed to Project ethical values and to achieve Project expectations and goals, which shall include a proactive approach with other project department to achieve these goals. Possess a minimum of 5 years in Civils Inspection / QA/QC. Possess a minimum of 10 years in Civil Engineering Industry on similar projects Responsible for timely inspection during civils activities, proactive in the prevention of non - compliance and problem resolution. Attention to detail, commitment to a "Right - First - Time" ethos. Good coordination, interpersonal skills. Good written skills, ability to present data in a clear and concise manner. Self - motivating, well organized, resourceful and proactive.

Qualification and knowledge
Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Similar. Previous experience in QC inspection essential. Solid background in oil and gas, petrochemical, or major infrastructure projects preferred

General coordination duties description
Civils inspector shall in general be responsible for monitoring performance of Quality Control matters. Main tasks include:
Monitor/ review material test certificates in line with project specifications.
Monitor/ review compliance with project Inspection and Test Plans in line with project specifications.
Ensure project preservation requirements are followed.
Ensure traceability of materials are maintained.
Witness manufacturing activities as per agreed ITP ensuring compliance to project standards including occasional off-site visits.
Ensure manufacture record book is completed, reviewed, endorsed, and appropriately saved in agreed storage location.
Feedback into supplier performance evaluation.
