Summary: g2 is looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to contribute to the civil design and infrastructure of rail depots on Network Rail projects. The ideal candidate should have expertise in infrastructure design using AutoCAD Civils 3D and InfoDrainage. This role is hybrid, requiring both home working and weekly office attendance in Leeds. The contract is for 4 months with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support civil design and infrastructure for rail depots.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civils 3D and InfoDrainage for design tasks.
- Ensure sound knowledge in Civil Engineering design including highways, levels, drainage, and external works.
- Work on traditional civil works such as piled foundations and concrete.
- Apply rail infrastructure experience to projects.

g2 are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to support the civil design and infrastructure of rail depots (train stabling and maintenance facilities) on Network Rail projects- the role is centred around someone who has ability and experience in infrastructure design on AutoCAD Civils 3D software and InfoDrainage.
Location: Leeds (Hybrid role with home working and weekly attendance in the office preferred)
Contract Length: 4 months plus extension
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience working with Autocad and relevant softwares.
- Sound knowledge in Civil Engineering design including highways, levels, drainage and external works such as utilities, paved and unpaved surfaces, earthworks, and access and accessibility.
- Background in traditional civil works: piled foundations, concrete, and appreciation of superstructure
- Rail infrastructure experience essential
