Summary: The Cisco Network Engineer role is a contract position focused on network implementation within a Cisco-heavy environment, primarily remote with occasional on-site work in Leeds. The engineer will work on enhancing SolarWinds deployments and must have expertise in Cisco technologies, including ACI and SD Access. The position is outside IR35 and offers a flexible working schedule.
Key Responsibilities:

Cisco Network Engineer Healthcare Mostly Remote Contract - 1 day in Leeds every 2 weeks 4 Months initial term, 12 months projected Outside IR35
We are seeking a skilled Network Implementation Engineer with recent hands-on experience (within the last 1–2 years) across a Cisco-heavy environment, including ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) with Leaf and Spine architecture and APIC automation. Expertise in Cisco SD Access (SDA) and DNA/Catalyst Center for network automation is essential, along with proficiency in Cisco FMC (Firepower Management Center) and ISE (Identity Services Engine). You will enhance an existing SolarWinds deployment that is currently in basic day-one state, requiring deep customization, dashboard creation, threshold and alert tuning, and SQL development. Familiarity with F5 and Logic Monitor is desirable but not mandatory. This role is primarily remote, with working hours between 8am and 6pm, based on a flexible 7.5-hour day. You must be able to travel to the Leeds data centre roughly once per fortnight for racking and stacking and other on-site implementation tasks.
