Summary: We are looking for a skilled Cisco ISE Network Engineer to support a critical infrastructure project involving device validation and Cisco ISE transitions. The role requires hands-on experience with network troubleshooting and secure access management. The engineer will work in a hybrid model, with onsite requirements in Orange, CA every two weeks. This position is project-based and may involve after-hours work for cutovers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Physically verify all connected devices on designated floors
- Ensure infrastructure mapping is accurate and complete
- Replace switches designated for monitor mode and execute Cisco ISE enforcement configuration
- Provide real-time troubleshooting for unexpected network/device issues during implementation
- Collaborate with client teams and support incident escalation as needed
- Assist with post-deployment validation and remediation activities in Phase 2
Key Skills:
- Proven experience with Cisco ISE implementation, including monitor-to-enforcement transitions
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and switch configuration
- Solid troubleshooting experience in high-stakes production environments
