Key Responsibilities:

About the Role
The Programme Manager will lead the delivery of large-scale Education technology programmes. This role involves managing across multiple large and complex projects focused on digital product and enabling systems to deliver required strategic business outcomes. The Programme Manager will ensure successful outcomes by aligning programme objectives with institutional strategy and goals, managing stakeholders, monitoring programme dependencies, and aligning and tracking plans across all dependent projects and initiatives. The role will collaborate with Sponsors, Project Managers, PMO, and key stakeholders across Technology and Education teams to ensure there is alignment and clarity of approach across the programme. The role requires a deep level of expertise in building and maintaining strong positive stakeholder relationships across Education and Technology, and the ability to drive resolution to complex and ambiguous interdependencies for the successful delivery of business outcomes. We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office. This is a 18-month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have/be:
- Strong background and understanding of programme and project management and end to end delivery models for change initiatives within a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Proficiency in programme methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, MSP, Agile/SAFe) and governance.
- Ability to identify, track and concisely define internal and external dependencies across programmes, projects, and BAU teams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, able to build collaborative relationships whilst holding to account and having challenging conversations.
- Strong financial management and benefits realisation experience.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
