CIEE is seeking a Course Instructor who is committed to the value of study abroad education and the importance of cross-cultural learning. CIEE is hiring a course instructor who is excited to embrace the task-based, communicative approach, and ensure quality and consistency across language levels and introduce participants to the local language and culture. The Course Instructor should have excellent classroom management skills and experience teaching university-level students. The Course Instructor and other instructors will be supported by the Academics Team based in CIEE’s teaching location in London, the CIEE London Centre in Russell Square.

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching university-level students
  • Experience teaching and/or working with US undergraduate students preferred
  • Master’s degree required, and PhD preferred
  • Significant experience in the subject area related to the course
  • Ability to cultivate effective professional relationships with both faculty and CIEE staff
  • Experience with communicative and task-based teaching methods required
  • Outstanding intercultural communications skills
  • High level of English proficiency required; all courses will be delivered in English
  • Experience working with an LMS (e.g., Canvas)
