Children's Social Care Reporting & Power BI Specialist

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Children's Social Care Reporting Specialist with strong experience in Liquidlogic, ContrOCC, Power BI and SQL.

You will support Children's Services by developing reporting, dashboards and management information, helping teams understand performance, finance and operational data.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reports using Liquidlogic Children's Social Care (LCS) data.
• Produce ContrOCC and social care finance reports.
• Build and improve Power BI dashboards.
• Develop SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.
• Create and maintain data models.
• Produce statutory, operational and management reports for Children's Services.
• Develop reporting for Family Help, Early Help and prevention services.
• Support performance management and management information.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Work with Children's Services teams to understand reporting requirements.
• Analyse data and provide useful insights to support decision-making.

Candidates must have:

• Experience with Liquidlogic Children's Social Care (LCS).
• Experience with ContrOCC reporting.
• Experience in Children's Social Care reporting.
• Experience with social care finance reporting.
• Strong Power BI dashboard development experience.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with data extraction and data modelling.
• Experience producing management information and performance reports.
• Knowledge of Family Help, Early Help and prevention services.
• Experience working with Local Authority Children's Services data and systems.
• Good understanding of data quality and reporting requirements.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a combination of technical reporting skills and strong Children's Social Care knowledge.

They should understand local authority data and be able to turn complex information into clear Power BI dashboards and reports for operational and senior management teams.
