Summary: My client in the Midlands is seeking a Children's Services Programme Manager on a contract basis to support the improvement of Children's Services, including transformation and SEND. The role involves leading critical projects and managing multi-disciplinary teams to ensure effective delivery within agreed parameters. The position requires experience in a Local Authority context and exceptional stakeholder engagement skills. The role offers hybrid working arrangements and a competitive daily rate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on a number of critical projects and programmes
  • Key priorities are Families First, Placements & Sufficiency and SEND.
  • Lead on and effectively manage multi-disciplinary and multiple project teams.
  • Take responsibility and oversee delivery of other individual Projects and programmes to an agreed direction, timescale and budget as required.

Key Skills:

  • Experience with Children's Services in a Local Authority context is essential.
  • Prince 2 is desired, or qualified by experience.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellence across a broad range of Children's services.

Salary (Rate): £600 per day

My client in the Midlands is looking to appoint a talented Children's Services Programme Manager on a Contract basis.

This role will support the Council's improvement of Children's Services, including transformation, Families First, placements, sufficiency and SEND.

You will have the following experiences:

  • Experience with Children's Services in a Local Authority context is essential.
  • Prince 2 is desired, or qualified by experience.

  • Excellence across a broad range of Children's services.

  • Salary: £500-£600 per day, Inside IR35
