Key Responsibilities:

Locum Occupational Therapist – Children & Young People (ASD)

Rate: £30/h

Location: West Midlands

Hours: 37.5 hours / week

We're recruiting on behalf of a specialist healthcare provider for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a growing multidisciplinary team delivering Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD assessments for children and young people. You'll use your specialist occupational therapy expertise to assess functional impact, sensory processing, motor development and daily living skills, contributing to high-quality, evidence-based diagnostic assessments. Working as part of an experienced MDT, you'll carry out structured assessments, gather information from families and education settings, provide clinical reasoning during MDT discussions and produce clear reports with practical recommendations for children, young people and their families. You'll be joining a supportive, clinician-led service committed to delivering high-quality neurodevelopmental assessments in line with NICE guidance. Alongside your clinical work, you'll work collaboratively with the wider MDT to ensure safe, timely and person-centred assessments while maintaining high standards of clinical governance.

What we're looking for:

  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
