Summary: The Children's Community Nurse will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for children within the community nursing caseload. The post holder will be responsible for completing the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care to children on the Children’s Community Nursing caseload. They are required to have a qualification in Children's Nursing with experience of acute and complex conditions to support our families. All nurses applying must have access to a car and have a driving license. We are seeking Registered Children’s Nurse to join our large children’s community nursing team on a temporary basis for 12 months to cover maternity and study leave. We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic nurses with excellent communication skills and good organisational skills who can deliver evidence based nursing care to children at home. The Children’s Community Nursing team support children in the community with acute and chronic conditions seven days a week from 8am-10pm. Therefore it is necessary for you to be able to work shifts and weekends. You will be part of a forward thinking, friendly team and you will be supported to develop professionally. All nurses applying must have access to a car and have a driving license.
