Summary: The role of Checkpoint Administrator involves leading infrastructure security projects, specifically focusing on Checkpoint Firewall upgrades and migrations. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead infrastructure security projects, including Checkpoint Firewall upgrades and migrations.
- Perform firewall testing and documentation using Jira and Confluence.
- Troubleshoot Cisco networking issues, including switches and routing.
- Implement and design Checkpoint Maestro upgrades and migrations.
- Support change work and migration tasks, including working on weekends as needed.
Key Skills:
- 5-8 years of experience in infrastructure security.
- Proficiency with Check Point NGFW and various software blades.
- Experience with R81.20 Check Point Scalable Platform - Maestro with VSX deployment.
- Knowledge of Check Point basic architecture and components.
- Experience with MDS in a high-availability environment.

Job Description:
Mandatory Skills:
- Infrastructure Security Experience: 5-8 Years
- Project Work
- Work on Checkpoint Firewall evergreen upgrade, migration as well as firewall testing
- Documentation
- Jira / Confluence
- Cisco networking skills, troubleshooting cisco switches, routing etc
- Checkpoint Maestro upgrades, migrations from NGFW to Security Group with VS
- Implementation and designing experience nice to have
Change work / Migration: Change work expected 2/4 Saturdays in a month, time back in lieu (max 40 hour working week).They will work in their time zone but in some cases they will need to support other time zones.
Skill Experience with working on Check Point NGFW with various software blade
Experience with R81.20 Check Point Scalable Platform - Maestro with VSX deployment
Experience with Check Point basic architecture & components - SC, SMS, NGFW
Experience with MDS in High-Availability environment.
Experience with RMA process.
