Summary: The role of Charity Project Manager at a top investment bank involves overseeing volunteer projects within the Asia Pacific region as part of the CSR team. The position requires strategic planning, budget management, and collaboration with non-profit organizations globally. The successful candidate will manage project logistics and monitor budgets while ensuring effective communication and project execution. This is a 6-month contract position with potential for renewal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic oversight for volunteer projects in Asia Pacific offices of the business.
- Engage in project planning, budget management, application review, grant processing, and impact measurement.
- Work on partnership opportunities with non-profit organisations around the world.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement an extremely wide range of volunteer projects.
- Work with internal and external vendors to coordinate the distribution of the volunteer program marketing materials, project costs forms, booking of transportation and meal arrangements for all projects.
- Monitor the project budgets and prepare vendor payments and donations to charities as well as check T&Es relating to each event.
- Conduct charity visits and identify potential new charities to work with in the future.
Key Skills:
- 3+ years in the charity/ CSR field. Experience in NGO / banking/ sizeable financial institutions is preferred.
- Degree holder or above in Marketing, Business, Communication, or related discipline.
- Strong language skills - full business proficient in English is a must. Japanese speaker will be prioritized.
- Able to work independently and cope with pressure in a dynamic & fast-paced working environment.
- Excellent communication skills, multi-tasking and attentive to details.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
