Summary: The Change Readiness Manager at The AA is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of change projects within Roadside Operations. This role involves collaborating with project teams, assessing impacts, and optimizing workflows through change management and lean process design. The position requires a focus on enhancing business efficiency and customer journeys while facilitating smooth transitions during change implementation. The role is hybrid, requiring three days in the office each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct analysis for efficiency improvement and validate opportunities to enhance business processes.
- Oversee the seamless transition of change initiatives into business-as-usual operations.
- Ensure successful delivery and embedding of change initiatives within the organization.
- Complete readiness tasks and support the end-to-end change governance process.
- Drive the definition of change projects and analyze opportunities for improvements.
- Produce project plans, risk logs, and readiness plans while communicating updates to stakeholders.
- Share best practices and ensure regulatory compliance in business processes.
- Embrace the AA Blueprint and foster a change-ready culture.
Key Skills:
- Passion for business and customer improvements.
- Experience leading small to medium-sized change initiatives/projects (desirable).
- Understanding of lean process design and lean six sigma concepts (beneficial).
- Critical experience in conducting detailed root cause and/or deep dive analysis.
- Understanding of Agile, Scrum, or ITIL (advantageous, not essential).
- Advantageous experience in contact center operation and/or fleet/outdoor operation (not essential).
- Advantageous experience in digital change, improvement, or product ownership.
- Excellent skills in PowerPoint, Project, Word, and Visio.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow belt and Change Management and/or Project management qualifications/certifications (advantageous but not essential).

Beyond project management, Change Readiness Manager serve as the bridge between strategic initiatives and operational readiness. The Change Readiness Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring successful change projects within Roadside Operations. You will collaborate with project teams, assess impact, mitigate risks, and monitor progress. Additionally, you will excel in change management and lean process design, optimising workflows.
What will I be doing?
- Conduct Analysis for Efficiency Improvement: Identifying and validating opportunities to enhance business efficiency and explore ways to improve customer journeys
- Transition Management: Overseeing the seamless transition of change initiatives into business-as-usual operations
- Support Successful Delivery and Embedding: Ensuring change initiatives and projects integrate seamlessly into the organisation and facilitating smooth transitions during change implementation
- Change Readiness Activities: Completing readiness tasks (e.g., training, process design, communication) and supporting the end-to-end change governance process and prioritising projects
- Lead Change Definition: Driving the definition of change projects and analysing opportunities for business efficiency and customer journey improvements
- Transition Management: Overseeing the transition of change into business as usual and establishing project governance structures (e.g., steering groups)
- Planning and Communication: Producing project plans, risk logs, and readiness plans and communicating updates to stakeholders effectively
- Best Practices and Compliance: Sharing internal and external best practices and ensuring regulatory compliance in all business processes
- Cultural Alignment: Embracing the AA Blueprint and foster a change-ready culture
What do I need?
- Passion for Business and Customer Improvements: Drive business and customer experience enhancements
- Change Initiative and Project Leadership: Experience leading small-medium sized change initiatives/projects (desirable)
- Lean Process Design and Six Sigma: Understanding of lean process design and lean six sigma concepts (beneficial)
- Root Cause and Deep Dive Analysis: Critical experience in conducting detailed Root Cause and/or Deep Dive analysis
- Agile, Scrum, and ITIL: Understanding of Agile, Scrum, or ITIL (advantageous, not essential)
- Contact Center and Fleet/Outdoor Experience: Advantageous experience in contact center operation and/or fleet/outdoor operation (not essential)
- Digital Change and Product Ownership: Advantageous experience in digital change, improvement, or product ownership
- Software Skills: Key requirement: Excellent PowerPoint, Project, Word, and Visio skills
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse and interpret complex data and translate data into meaningful conclusions
- Certifications and Qualifications: Lean Six Sigma Yellow belt and Change Management and/or Project management qualifications/certifications (advantageous but not essential)
