Summary: The Change Manager will lead the change management strategy for a significant SAP S/4HANA implementation within a local authority, focusing on ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and systems. This role involves driving stakeholder engagement and minimizing disruption during the transformation. The position is a 6-month contract with potential for extension and is classified as outside IR35. The role requires on-site presence 1-2 days a week in Stoke-on-Trent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive change management plan aligned with SAP S/4HANA implementation milestones.
- Engage with stakeholders across departments to ensure clear communication and buy-in.
- Conduct impact assessments and readiness evaluations to identify risks and opportunities.
- Design and deliver training and support programs for end-users.
- Monitor and report on change adoption, providing actionable insights to leadership.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Change Manager on large-scale ERP implementations, ideally SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong background working within local authorities or public sector organizations, with an understanding of governance and compliance requirements.
- Hands-on experience with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and related business transformation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Prosci, ADKAR, or similar change management methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex environment.
