Summary: The External Readiness Change Manager for Digital Accounting at HMRC will be instrumental in driving stakeholder engagement for the Making Tax Digital Programme, a key initiative aimed at transforming tax administration in the UK. Key Responsibilities:
- Managing relationships with influential stakeholders including agents, businesses, landlords, and trade associations.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to maximize readiness for mandatory MTD implementation from April 2026.
- Ensuring proactive management of external perceptions and expectations regarding testing phases.
- Championing stakeholder insights to support the successful delivery of MTD services.
