Summary: The Change and Communications Manager will play a crucial role in a global technology company's finance transformation project, focusing on internal controls and ensuring business readiness for new processes and systems. This position involves designing change management strategies, engaging stakeholders, and coordinating training efforts over a 2-year fixed-term contract. Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and delivering a robust change management strategy across key Internal Controls workstreams.
- Leading on stakeholder engagement, communications planning, training coordination, and adoption activities.
- Operating independently to develop and execute detailed change plans, tracking progress and ensuring alignment with programme goals.
- Collaborating closely with the Communications Lead to draft, cascade, and manage communications that keep stakeholders well-informed and engaged.
- Building mitigation plans with stakeholders to address change resistance and ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
- Supporting the design and roll-out of training to meet internal controls and compliance requirements.
- Working with the Business Readiness Lead to assess business preparedness and track change management KPIs.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience leading large-scale change programmes in complex, global organisations.
- Experience working within or closely alongside Finance functions, with an understanding of finance processes and challenges.
- Familiarity with internal controls frameworks such as SOX or ICFR (highly desirable).
- A strategic mindset with the ability to design change roadmaps and deliver them effectively.
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities, with experience developing clear, engaging content for different audiences.

Barden have been asked to act on behalf of a global technology company to lead the appointment of an experienced Change and Communications Manager to join the Business Readiness team on a 2- year Fixed Term Contract basis. This role will be instrumental in supporting the Internal Controls project pillar, ensuring business readiness and successful adoption of new processes, systems, and policies aligned with regulatory requirements such as SOX.
