Scania Assistance – Centre Manager 12 month maternity cover – fixed term contract
Location: Bradford – hybrid working (and virtual oversight of our Melbourne branch).
Working hours: Monday – Friday 0845 – 1700.
Salary: From £49,000 plus an excellent benefits package and a bonus scheme.
An opportunity to play a pivotal role in the Scania GB operation as Centre Manager at our Scania Assistance branch in Bradford. You will bring both people leadership and strategic oversight to all centre operations, enhancing our processes and developing the Scania Assistance strategy. You will be ultimately responsible for ensuring that Scania Assistance deliver a premium around the clock service to our customers in the UK, Southern Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the USA.
In this role you will:
- Lead, coach and motivate our people to deliver the premium service associated with the Scania brand, fostering an inclusive culture.
- Oversee all centre operations both in the United Kingdom and in Melbourne (Australia).
- Manage, supervise, and coordinate the activities of the Centre according to the Market Plan.
- Forecast and analyse financial performance, implementing changes where necessary to reach financial targets.
- Collaborate with the Scania Assistance management team and the Global Assistance Centres management team to review and improve policies, guidelines, procedures and standards.
- Handle the most complicated customer inquiries, understanding the customer and their needs.
- Monitor and track colleague performance, delivering coaching to ensure continuous individual and cultural enhancement.
- People Management and leadership are essential to this role, as you will be responsible for recruiting and nurturing the right behaviors and culture at all times.
